Home Care

Home Care

When you’re dealing with a health condition or recovering from an injury or surgery, your comfort is essential to healing. We understand that home is where you’re most comfortable and often where you sleep better and recover faster.

At Peterson Home Care, we bring our expert care into the comfort of your own home. We partner with you to help you meet your recovery goals so you can return to doing what you love. We also team up with caregivers to educate and empower them to participate in your care, and we offer support along the way.

The Power of Peterson in Home Care

We skillfully balance your medical needs with your desire to heal where you’re most comfortable and happy: at home. Our registered nurses are available around the clock, and we offer scheduled weekend visits as needed and in accordance with your doctor’s orders.

Our services allow you to receive the care you need with the comfort and security that comes from living in your own home. We offer:

Team approach: Our team meets weekly to discuss each individual’s care, ensuring a coordinated and personalized approach. The care team includes a medical director, registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, home health aides, and social workers—each bringing their expertise to support your health and well-being.

Collaborative care: We collaborate closely with primary care providers and specialists to gain a comprehensive understanding of your medical history and keep them informed with timely updates about your health. Additionally, we work with pharmacies, laboratories, and other support services to coordinate care that is both effective and appropriate.

Convenient diagnostic testing: We perform standard vital signs assessments and collect blood and urine samples directly in your home, ensuring convenient access to care. These samples are then transported to a laboratory for timely analysis. When needed, we can also coordinate portable X-ray services with an order from your healthcare provider.

Our home care services are available in Bandera, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr, and Kimble counties.
