This was the perfect “new patient” experience. Before my appointment with Dr Barnes, they requested I fill out an in-depth summary of my health issues past & present. I delivered it to the absolutely stunning office & later received just the right amount of reminders for the appointment. When the Dr entered the room with all of that paperwork that she had obviously studied in-depth, I knew I was in the right place. Dr Barnes took so much time discussing my health & allowed for us to get to know each other. She made recommendations for improving my situation and mapped out next steps. I so appreciate the time she took with me & how personable she was. I’m very thankful to have her caring for me & hopeful for a less painful future!

Dr. Barnes is very knowledgeable, engaging, and an excellent listener. I am thankful she's in Kerrville and think she is a top-notch physician, one who really takes time with her patients and offers personalized advice. Everyone in the office is responsive and knowledgeable. I know that I am in good hands with them and they are seasoned professionals. There was one glitch, however: The information new patients receive tells us to go to a different location from where their practice is currently located. This created a fair amount of confusion and stress for those trying to get to her office in time for our long-awaited appointments. I wasn't the only one in the waiting room complaining about the last-minute stress and confusion of trying to find the right location.

Outstanding first visit. I'm a new patient. I tend to expect good service from the Healthcare industry since I spent 40 years working in the Healthcare industry and know what to expect. I received the best visit with Dr. Barnes that I have experienced with a new provider. She was very attentive and listened to me with genuine concern. It was obvious that she had already reviewed my records and already had an excellent idea of my health condition. She explained my treatment options and listened to my questions. She gave detailed answers to all my concerns and came up with an excellent treatment plan. I am very satisfied with Dr. Barnes and will recommend her to everyone I know.

Dr. Barnes has earned the credit she receives from her colleagues and patients. She is so knowledgeable that she can answer all your questions satisfactorily. She explains everything thoroughly and makes sound recommendations. She has a great personality and takes the time to talk to you. I feel totally comfortable and confident with her. She's in a great Location, has great office staff and visits are timely. All this make it a pleasurable experience.

When I called 911 that evening, I honestly prepared myself to not see my dad alive again after that due to how quickly and severely he had fallen sick. After his negative COVID results came back, I walked into his ER room about 30 minutes after we arrived and he was alert (he was even smiling!) and receiving the necessary medications and treatments to help him. Immediately, everyone began helping him as a TEAM between each department quickly and efficiently to ensure my dad was taken care of and comfortable. It's almost like they were Angels bringing him back to me! I knew he was in the very BEST hands! My dad hasn't stopped talking about how greatly his opinion of Peterson hospital has changed after the phenomenal care he's received over the past couple of days. He said everyone is being so helpful and caring, thoughtful, and shows its a TEAM effort! He has so much more respect for PRMC and the staff and is so appreciative of everyone. He didn't stop bragging on how helpful and nice everyone has been to him and our family.
