Kerrville, TX – Peterson Health is thrilled to announce the overwhelming success of its 2024 Diamond Anniversary Gala, held Saturday, September 21. With a sold-out crowd of more than 550 attendees, the Gala raised an impressive $270,454, setting a new record and achieving a 66% increase in net fundraising compared to the 2022 Gala.

“This was our most successful fundraising event ever,” said Cory Edmondson, President and CEO of Peterson Health. “We are deeply grateful for the generosity of our community, sponsors, and guests who continue to support the essential services we provide.”

Proceeds from this year’s event will fund the replacement of the hospital’s current mattresses with new, state-of-the-art models that enhance patient care and comfort. Thanks to the incredible contributions, the purchase of 75 new mattresses is underway, with 19 mattresses still needed to complete the project.

A Community Call to Help Complete Our Goal

Each of the hospital’s remaining mattresses costs $3,625, and while the Gala brought us very close to our goal, there is still a critical need to secure funding for the final 19 mattresses. Peterson Health invites anyone who may not have been able to attend but wishes to contribute to this impactful cause to join us in fulfilling this initiative.
