The Wound Healing Center’s on-site diagnostic lab and diagnostic radiology services assist in identifying the reasons behind healing impairment. A skilled team of wound care nurses and physicians provide outpatient management and treatment of problem wounds. Some patients benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which involves breathing 100% oxygen while the body is under greater than normal atmospheric pressure. Hyperbaric oxygen is a non-invasive therapy and is delivered inside a comfortable see-through chamber. The chamber is gently pressurized while a specially trained technician monitors the patient. Peterson’s Wound Healing Center offers you the most advanced therapies available. Our patients experience fewer re-hospitalizations, a reduced likelihood of prolonged or permanent disabilities and an improved quality of life.
You can ask to be referred by your physician or schedule an appointment on your own.
